As usual the week before the start of the Fall semester is very busy for all of us here at Feinberg Library and the Division of Library and Information Services. Classrooms and labs are being made ready, all the summer technology updates need to be finished and information for the new academic year is being finalized. I want to take a moment and explain about our new addition. If you pass by the back of Feinberg Library (the Draper Ave. side) you will notice a large storage container. This large container and about 12 of its friends will be temporarily holding the books currently on the first floor. The first floor books are being removed as part of our post-flood clean up. Not all 13 storage containers will be behind the library - only the ones currently being filled.
We anticipate that the books will be in storage for at least the Fall semester. Remember you can make use of Feinberg's Interlibrary Loan system to get any books not available in storage.
